Double-sided Holiday Porch Leaner
Do you want to build a snowman? Or are you feeling more Grinchy? This festive double-sided sign can be displayed at your front door or inside your home. Switch it around depending on your mood of the day.
In this workshop, you'll paint and customize a 10" x 30" wood pallet sign that has been pre-assembled for you. Choose from one of our face traceables or design your own. You can optionally add your family name or a message to the hat brim, plus some hat accessories and scarf for the snowman. We will also have some L brackets available for a small additional fee if you want to make your sign free-standing.
This class is suitable for ages 10+, but minors must attend with an adult. Tickets are required and space is limited. Two people may share one project - purchase one ticket and add the second person in the notes. Ticket sales close 72 hours before event to allow for prep time.
This workshop will be held at Moment Brewing in Silverdale. Beer and non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase along with sandwiches, hot dogs and snacks.
Refund Policy & Terms
Cancellation and Refunds
Classes and workshops are fully refundable up to 14 days before a class.
For cancellations 7 - 14 days before an event, we will issue a gift card rather than a refund which can be used towards a future class or merchandise.
For cancellations less than 7 days, no gift card credit is offered as we’ve often already spent the money on supplies based on your presumed attendance. You have the option of transferring your ticket to a friend or family member. Please just let us know to expect someone else in your place. In some cases we may be able to transfer you to another session though we don’t guarantee that the class you signed up for will be available again.
In all cases, if we can fill your spot from a wait list, we will issue you a refund. Not all classes have wait lists. The more notice you give, the better your options are that we can fill your spot.
If you no-show for a class you forfeit all options for transfers, credit, or refunds. We have procured supplies, and prepped with the expectation that you’d be there.
Class Minimums
Classes that fail to meet minimum enrollment may be cancelled and refunded. Unless otherwise stated, this minimum is 4 paid attendees. We generally hold ticketing open until 72 hours before a scheduled event, then make a determination as to whether to continue. Do not wait until the last minute to enroll because you’re afraid a class will be cancelled. When everyone does that, it ensures that a class will be cancelled. You will be notified by email 48-72 hours before a class is scheduled if we are unable to meet enrollment.
Cancellation by Dream Maker
If we cancel a class due to instructor illness, power outage, weather/disaster, etc, we will first attempt to reschedule the class and transfer to the new date. If you’re not available for the rescheduled date, you will be refunded.
Photography and Video
The best marketing is pics of your smiling faces making something great in our classes. Our post class social media posts are a cost effective way to promote our classes and keep costs low. And community members love seeing what people are up to. Unless you specifically notify us, your attendance in a workshop grants us permission to post pics or video clips online. You will never be tagged or named and we never use any material that would embarrass you.
Minors
Unless otherwise stated, teens age 12+ may attend workshops primarily intended for adults. However, the teen must attend with an adult who is responsible for their supervision. The ages may vary based on the requirements for specific venues, liquor license rules, or the complexity/safety of a given craft. We sometimes offer kid or teen only classes which are drop-off. In this case, caregivers will need to complete an emergency contact form and waiver for their children.
Waiver of Liability
In the course of crafting and making art, you may be exposed to minor hazards such as sharp objects, certain chemicals, etc. We will show you the safe use of such materials, but are not liable for accidental mishaps, allergic reactions, or other injuries that may occur during our classes. You agree to accept these risks when you attend a Dream Maker event.
Pet Policy
Dream Maker Creative does not allow pets at any of our workshops whether our own studio or in other venues. Trained service animals are allowed per ADA guidelines. Emotional support pets or those who you bring with you because they can’t be left alone are not allowed. Pets in the classroom are unsafe as we are often moving around in tight spaces, working with sharp objects or chemicals, and can cause issues if other animals are in attendance.
