Engineering & Invention - Session 1

In this 6-class series, youngsters will be introduced to the engineering and design process to tackle a unique challenge each week, with each class building on the skills learned in the previous one. Kids will develop problem solving, collaboration skills, while building confidence in their creativity and analytical abilities. All while having fun! Example weekly challenges include:

  • Design a device that can launch a ping pong ball
  • Design a device that can grab something out of reach
  • Design a building that can withstand an earthquake

Class Meets Tuesdays, Sept 10th - Oct 15th (6 weeks) at Dream Maker Creative in Felton from 3:30-5:30.

This class is for ages 9-12 (roughly 4th-6th grade) and is suitable for after-school enrichment or as a home-school class. We are using curriculum developed by PBS Learning Media and a list of ISTE curriculum standards met through this program are available upon request.

Save $25 on this 6-week class if you register by Aug. 23rd. After that price increases to $175. A minimum enrollment of 6 participants is needed one week before each session, or session may be cancelled and refunded. So don't wait to register, and share with other families!
